The French teacher certification program at CSU prepares teachers with a solid French education knowledge base and provides practical expertise with diverse populations in using that knowledge.
The B.A. in French with Teacher Certification leads to entry-level certification in Georgia to teach French in grades P-12.
Admission into the Teacher Education Program. Applications can be obtained in the College of Education and Health Profession's Student Advising & Field Experiences office in Room 107, Jordan Hall or call 706-568-2191 or 706-568-2194.
To be eligible for CSU's recommendation for a Georgia professional teaching certificate, students must complete a rigorous program of coursework. They also must meet certain other criteria required by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
