Dr. Sallie Miller is the Associate Dean for Assessment and Accreditation, and Coordinator for the Graduate Reading Endorsement Program in the College of Education and Health Professions. A four-course sequence makes up the program (10 graduate semester hours). The courses are based on the International Reading Standards, the National Reading Panel's Report, and the work of reading educators from thirteen major universities in the state of Georgia. The following descriptions of the Graduate Reading Endorsement Program are taken from the 2007-2008 catalog.
This program requires that the participant / individual have a current teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education, Middle Grades, Secondary Education, or Special Education.
