Dr. Heather McKeen is a professor in the Teacher Education Department who received her doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership. She currently teaches courses in the education teacher preparation program. Prior to teaching at the college level, Dr. McKeen spent a number of years as a public school teacher working with many children of diverse backgrounds. Her passion and efforts are focused on using modern technology and alternate teaching methods in the classroom to create an atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging for all students.
